💚 Exactly a fortnight ago, on Friday evening at 19:00, I had the great honour and real pleasure to host, together with Janusz Zakrzewski, the 4th Charity Ball of the Cooperative Bank in Szczytno.
🗓️ I have not missed a single edition of this unique event, but this ball was absolutely phenomenal. With guests, partners, sponsors and customers of the bank, it was the first time that a six-figure fundraising amount was surpassed.
🫂 On this evening, the story of the charges of the Foster Families Association „Better Childhood” resonated particularly strongly. It is moments like this that remind us of the power of presence, commitment and joint action.
⚠️ It is also worth leaving in the text the broader context about foster care, as it strongly reinforces the point of the whole event. This makes the entry not just an account, but an important social voice.
💰 In the course of one evening it was possible to gather PLN 114,850, which will make a real difference to the reality of children in foster care.
💫 A beautiful closure to this story is also a personal souvenir from the ball - a trojak from 1622, which combines respect for history with help for the here and now.
