Description

The MENTAL TOUGHNESS QUESTIONAIRE Plus TEST is a reliable and valid psychometric tool, supported by numerous university studies. It contains 74 questions. It measures mental toughness and supports its development. I use it in recruitment and training and counselling activities.

With the MTQPlus test we investigate:

  • a sense of influence over one's own life
  • control of emotions

  • self-confidence
  • confidence in dealing with others

 

When is it worth measuring immunity?

It is worth looking at resilience when you observe:

after major and acute changes to plan rehabilitation,
you receive signals of declining satisfaction and commitment,
multiplying interpersonal conflicts,
employees and managers complain of overload,
sick leave is on the rise.

What does an MTQ Plus study participant gain?

The participant in the study has the opportunity to take a bird's-eye view of his or her mental condition, become aware of areas of strength and greater vulnerability, and plan methods for staying fit in the next period. In a confidential conversation, he or she can enquire about his or her action strategies. Learn to select activities to suit his current level of resilience and those that will develop it in the future. Knows in which situations he should not find it difficult to succeed and in which he may experience failure without support. He or she receives his or her performance against the population and appropriate developmental tasks. Together with the coach, they identify the so-called developmental lever, i.e. the factor or factors that will allow the greatest progress to be made with moderate effort. As a result, the Participant is given a strategy to enhance or maintain high performance.

 

The study participant receives an individual written development report. This contains the results obtained in the study, their description and suggestions for development in the area of mental resilience.

What is the difference between the MTQ48 and MTQPlus test?

The MTQ48, like the MTQPlus, examines the 4 factors of psychological resilience. Both tools are highly reliable and recommended. The difference lies in the number of subscales, i.e. the accuracy of the reporting of the results.

The MTQ48 contains 48 questions while the MTQPlus contains 68 and is the latest version of the MTQ48. If the Participant has less time the MTQ48 will be a better option due to the smaller number of questions. It only takes 15 minutes to complete and is also cheaper.

However, if one cares about business subscales in order to achieve greater accuracy of interpretation by looking at the subscales, the MTQPlus questionnaire is recommended.
